Business Profile Correction & Removal Policy

Where a business permanently ceases operations, the Business Owner or Authorized Representative should update the status of the claimed Business Profile or submit an appropriate request through the Platform to indicate that the business has permanently closed.

Users who reasonably believe that a business has permanently closed may also report the Business Profile for review. Such reports are considered requests for review only and do not result in the automatic removal or deletion of the Business Profile.

Peeptown may review available information, request additional supporting documentation, or seek confirmation from the Business Owner or Authorized Representative before determining whether a Business Profile should be updated to reflect a permanent closure.

A permanently closed business is not automatically entitled to have its Business Profile removed from the Platform. Subject to applicable laws and Platform policies, Peeptown may retain, archive, restrict, disable, or continue displaying a Business Profile where it serves legitimate informational, historical, legal, operational, or record-keeping purposes.

Where a Business Profile remains available after a business has closed, Peeptown may indicate that the business is permanently closed or otherwise no longer operating. The availability of such a profile does not imply that the business remains active, accepts customers, or continues to provide products or services.

Peeptown reserves the right to determine the appropriate treatment of Business Profiles relating to permanently closed businesses based on the information available, applicable laws, and the integrity of the Platform.
