Legal Requests & Complaints Policy
Purpose of this Policy
The purpose of this Legal Requests & Complaints Policy is to establish a clear, transparent, and consistent framework for submitting, reviewing, investigating, and resolving legal requests and complaints relating to the Peeptown Platform.
This Policy is intended to:
- provide a formal process for reporting legal concerns affecting business listings, user content, or Platform activities;
- help protect businesses, users, intellectual property owners, and members of the public from fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, or harmful conduct;
- ensure that complaints are reviewed fairly, objectively, and in accordance with applicable laws and Peeptown's internal policies;
- explain the information and evidence that may be required before Peeptown can evaluate a request;
- describe the actions Peeptown may take when a request is substantiated, including content removal, profile updates, feature restrictions, account enforcement, or other appropriate measures;
- establish procedures for responding to valid court orders, legal notices, and requests from government or regulatory authorities;
- discourage the misuse of the complaint process through false, malicious, abusive, or fraudulent submissions; and
- support the integrity, accuracy, safety, and reliability of the Platform while respecting the rights of all affected parties.
Peeptown acts as an independent platform provider and evaluates legal requests in good faith based on the information available at the time of review. Nothing in this Policy creates an obligation for Peeptown to resolve private disputes between third parties, provide legal advice, or act as a court, arbitrator, or regulatory authority.
