Intellectual Property & Brand Rights Policy
Repeat Infringement Policy
Peeptown is committed to protecting intellectual property rights and may take escalating enforcement action against users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others or repeatedly submit content that violates this Policy.
A user may be considered a repeat infringer where Peeptown determines, in its reasonable discretion, that the user has been the subject of multiple valid copyright or trademark complaints, has repeatedly submitted infringing content after receiving warnings or notifications, has engaged in a pattern of intellectual property violations, or has otherwise demonstrated repeated non-compliance with this Policy or applicable law.
In determining whether a user is a repeat infringer, Peeptown may consider all relevant circumstances, including the number and nature of previous complaints, the seriousness of the alleged violations, the user's response to prior notices, whether the conduct appears intentional or repeated, the supporting evidence available, and any other relevant factors.
Where appropriate, Peeptown may take one or more enforcement actions, including:
- Issuing warnings or educational notices.
- Removing or restricting access to infringing content.
- Requiring additional verification of account ownership or authorization.
- Temporarily limiting account functionality or publishing privileges.
- Suspending or terminating user accounts.
- Permanently disabling access to specific Platform features.
- Taking any other action permitted under the Terms of Service or applicable law.
Peeptown is not required to provide multiple warnings before taking enforcement action where the circumstances indicate intentional infringement, repeated abuse, fraud, impersonation, or other serious misconduct.
Users whose accounts are restricted or terminated under this Policy may not create new accounts or use other accounts to circumvent enforcement measures without Peeptown's prior written permission. Attempts to evade enforcement actions may result in additional restrictions or permanent removal from the Platform.
Nothing in this section limits Peeptown's right to take immediate action where necessary to protect intellectual property rights, comply with legal obligations, safeguard the Platform, or reduce the risk of harm to users or third parties.
