Intellectual Property & Brand Rights Policy
Copyright
Peeptown recognizes and respects the rights of copyright owners and is committed to responding appropriately to reports of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with applicable law. Copyright protects original works of authorship, including but not limited to photographs, illustrations, graphics, videos, audio recordings, written content, software, product descriptions, marketing materials, and other creative works fixed in a tangible medium.
Users must not upload, publish, copy, reproduce, distribute, display, modify, or otherwise use copyrighted material on the Platform unless they are the copyright owner or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, or legal authorization to do so. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their submitted content does not infringe the copyrights of any third party.
The fact that copyrighted material is publicly available on a website, search engine, social media platform, online marketplace, business directory, or any other publicly accessible source does not mean that it may be copied or reused without authorization. Users should not assume that publicly available content is free to use.
Peeptown does not claim ownership of user-submitted content and does not routinely verify the copyright status of materials uploaded to the Platform before publication. The appearance of content on the Platform does not constitute confirmation that the necessary rights or permissions have been obtained.
Where Peeptown receives a valid and sufficiently detailed copyright infringement notice, the Platform may review the reported content and, where appropriate, remove, disable access to, or otherwise restrict the availability of the allegedly infringing material while the matter is being evaluated. Peeptown may also request additional information from the reporting party, the content contributor, or both before making a determination.
Users who repeatedly submit or publish content that infringes the copyrights of others may be subject to content removal, suspension of account privileges, termination of accounts, or other enforcement measures as permitted under this Policy and the Terms of Service.
Nothing in this section limits the legal rights or remedies available to copyright owners under applicable copyright laws, nor does it create an obligation for Peeptown to actively monitor all content for potential copyright infringement.
