Business Profile Correction & Removal Policy
Business Name Changes
A Business Owner or Authorized Representative may update the name of a claimed Business Profile where the business has undergone a legitimate name change. Business name changes should accurately reflect the current legal, registered, or publicly recognized trading name of the business.
Peeptown may require reasonable supporting documentation before approving or recognizing certain business name changes. Such documentation may include business registration records, official government filings, trademark documentation, website updates, or other evidence demonstrating that the name change is legitimate.
Business name changes must not be used to misrepresent a business, impersonate another business, transfer the reputation of one business to another, manipulate search visibility, or otherwise mislead users of the Platform.
Where a proposed name change appears to represent a substantially different business, ownership, legal entity, or commercial operation rather than a genuine change of business name, Peeptown may require the creation of a separate Business Profile, request additional verification, or decline the requested change.
Users who believe that a Business Profile displays an incorrect or misleading business name may submit a report for review in accordance with this Policy. Peeptown may review the available information and, where appropriate, request clarification or supporting evidence from the Business Owner or Authorized Representative.
Peeptown reserves the right to approve, reject, defer, or request additional verification for any business name change where necessary to protect the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of information published on the Platform.
