Business Profile Correction & Removal Policy
Scope and Application
This Policy applies to all business profiles published, displayed, claimed, or managed through the Peeptown Platform, regardless of whether a profile is claimed, unclaimed, verified, or pending verification.
The Policy governs requests relating to the management of business profiles, including profile claims, reporting inaccurate information, duplicate business profiles, business relocations, permanent business closures, business name changes, ownership changes, profile mergers, and requests for profile removal.
This Policy applies to all individuals and entities interacting with business profiles on the Platform, including business owners, authorized representatives, users, agencies, legal representatives, and any other person submitting a request concerning a business profile.
Business owners who successfully claim their business profiles are responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the information associated with their claimed profiles. Peeptown provides the technical platform through which eligible users may manage their business profiles but does not undertake an ongoing obligation to monitor, update, verify, or maintain business information on behalf of businesses.
Users who are not the owners or authorized representatives of a business may report information they reasonably believe to be inaccurate or misleading. Submission of a report does not guarantee that the requested change will be made, and Peeptown may require additional information, conduct its own review, or decline to take action where sufficient evidence is not available.
This Policy does not govern disputes relating to customer reviews, intellectual property claims, trademark disputes, defamation claims, privacy matters, or other legal issues that are addressed under separate Peeptown policies or applicable laws.
