Business Profile Correction & Removal Policy
Who May Submit a Request
Requests relating to a Business Profile may only be submitted by individuals or entities with a legitimate interest in the profile or the information it contains. Depending on the nature of the request, Peeptown may require the requester to verify their identity, authority, or relationship to the business before taking any action.
A Business Owner may submit requests relating to their Business Profile, including requests to claim a profile, update business information, report duplicate profiles, request profile merging, report business relocation or closure, request profile removal where appropriate, or make other legitimate profile management requests.
An Authorized Representative acting on behalf of a Business Owner may submit requests provided they have the necessary authority to represent the business. Peeptown may request reasonable evidence of such authorization before processing certain requests.
Any user of the Platform may report information they reasonably believe to be inaccurate, outdated, misleading, duplicated, or otherwise inconsistent with this Policy. Such reports are treated as requests for review only and do not grant the reporting user any authority to modify, control, or manage the Business Profile.
Peeptown reserves the right to decline, suspend, or defer any request where the identity or authority of the requester cannot be reasonably verified, where conflicting ownership claims exist, where insufficient supporting information has been provided, or where processing the request may compromise the security, integrity, or lawful operation of the Platform.
Submission of a request does not create any obligation for Peeptown to approve, modify, merge, remove, or otherwise act upon a Business Profile. All requests are subject to review in accordance with this Policy and other applicable Platform policies.
