Legal Requests & Complaints Policy
False, Frivolous or Malicious Complaints
Peeptown is committed to maintaining a fair and reliable complaint process. The legal request and complaint process must be used responsibly and only for genuine concerns supported by accurate information.
Submitting false, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, or malicious complaints may harm businesses, users, and the integrity of the Platform. Peeptown may take appropriate action against individuals or organizations that misuse this process.
Examples of improper use may include:
- submitting complaints containing knowingly false information;
- making claims without a reasonable basis or legitimate concern;
- providing fabricated documents, evidence, or statements;
- submitting repeated complaints after a matter has been reviewed without providing new relevant information;
- attempting to unfairly harm a competitor, business, or individual;
- using the complaint process to pressure, intimidate, harass, or disrupt another party;
- falsely claiming ownership, authorization, or legal rights; or
- abusing emergency request procedures without a genuine urgent situation.
Where Peeptown identifies suspected misuse of the complaint process, it may:
- reject or close the complaint;
- limit or restrict future submissions from the requester;
- require additional verification before accepting future requests;
- take action against related accounts where appropriate; or
- pursue other remedies available under applicable law.
Peeptown understands that legitimate complaints may sometimes be unsuccessful due to insufficient evidence, legal limitations, or other factors. A complaint that is declined or does not result in enforcement action will not, by itself, be considered a false or malicious complaint.
Determinations regarding misuse of the complaint process are made based on the available information, circumstances of the matter, and applicable laws and policies.
