Intellectual Property & Brand Rights Policy
Introduction
The protection of intellectual property rights is essential to maintaining a trusted, lawful, and respectful online platform. Peeptown is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of businesses, organizations, creators, brand owners, and other rights holders while providing users with the ability to create, manage, and share business-related information through the Platform.
Business profiles, business names, logos, photographs, product descriptions, marketing materials, and other content made available on the Platform may be submitted by business owners, authorized representatives, customers, or other users. As a result, Peeptown does not claim ownership of user-submitted content and cannot independently verify the ownership or authorization of every item submitted before it is published.
Peeptown expects every user to respect applicable intellectual property laws when creating, updating, or managing business profiles and other content on the Platform. Users must ensure that they possess all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, or legal authority before submitting, uploading, reproducing, displaying, or distributing any content that may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
Where Peeptown receives a valid and properly supported intellectual property complaint, the Platform may review the reported content and, where appropriate, restrict access to, remove, or otherwise take action regarding the disputed material in accordance with this Policy, applicable law, and the Platform's other governing policies.
Nothing in this Policy grants any person ownership of another party's intellectual property, nor does publication of content on the Platform imply that Peeptown has verified ownership, authenticity, authorization, endorsement, sponsorship, or licensing rights relating to such content.
This Intellectual Property & Brand Rights Policy should be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Business Listing Policy, Business Verification Policy, Business Profile Correction & Removal Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other applicable policies governing the use of the Platform.
