Intellectual Property & Brand Rights Policy
Respect for Intellectual Property Rights
Peeptown respects the intellectual property rights of businesses, creators, organizations, and other rights holders and expects every user of the Platform to do the same. Users must ensure that any content they create, submit, upload, edit, publish, or otherwise make available through the Platform complies with applicable intellectual property laws and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that they own, control, or have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, consents, or legal authority to use any copyrighted material, trademarks, logos, photographs, videos, graphics, product images, marketing materials, or other protected content that they submit to the Platform.
No user may upload, reproduce, distribute, display, modify, publish, or otherwise use any content that infringes or misappropriates another person's copyright, trademark, trade name, logo, brand identity, trade dress, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right. Users must also refrain from removing, altering, or obscuring copyright notices, trademark symbols, ownership information, or other proprietary notices associated with protected content.
The availability of content on the internet, social media platforms, business websites, search engines, public directories, or other publicly accessible sources does not grant permission to copy, reproduce, or republish that content on the Platform. Users remain responsible for obtaining any required authorization before using such materials.
Peeptown does not pre-screen or verify ownership of every item of content submitted to the Platform. The publication of content does not constitute confirmation that the content is lawful, licensed, authorized, or free from third-party intellectual property claims.
Where Peeptown becomes aware of credible allegations of intellectual property infringement, the Platform may review the reported content and may remove, restrict, disable access to, or otherwise take appropriate action regarding the content or associated account in accordance with this Policy, the Terms of Service, and applicable law.
Nothing in this Policy transfers, assigns, licenses, or otherwise grants ownership of any intellectual property rights to Peeptown, except for the limited rights necessary to operate, display, store, process, and provide the Platform as described in the Terms of Service.
